Quality Control

daily radiation data section hourly radiation data section
single day several days single hour several hours

This service can help you to control the quality of global irradiation data. There are several reasons why a meteostation might falsely report a bright shining sun in the middle of the darkest night or declare biblical darkness at 12am near the equator. This service is designed to test global radiation data against such cases of "seemingly obvious nonsense". It offers an easy access to several programs which will process the measurements. The programs will compare the data against the extraterrestial irradiation and that provided by a clear sky model for the day or hour and generate a report. The report will state and explain anomalies found in the measurements.

Note. Due to a change in host machine, the service "several hours" for controlling time-series of hourly irradiation is not working properly. Service will resume as soon as the bug is fixed.
